note: the following information is of my personal view and has a status of (IMHO)
Do we need the tower, personally yes i think we do need this tower, but where Optus have submitted to council where Optus would like to erect the tower is a little close to my liking, not that i have any issue with towers, just don't like them close to myself in fact i don't want them near me as they could have the potential to cause health issues (in my opinion) not only that, they can be an eye sore, at the moment i don't have all the facts as i missed a news segment on Tv that had some relevant info, however my personal view of the tower to be relocated to a
new position to cover a more greater central coverage to its current submitted position, personally a relocation should be proposed, the future of mobile telecoms is the future for voice and mobile broadband internet, despite the possible risk of health issues, that aside back to the tower,
My personal view of the tower currently, personally its current submitted location
doesn't affect me, however, it would fill a current hole for me if i wanted to reactivate a couple
of Optuses devices i have, even though there is a Telstra Tower near by, its signal strenght is really poor low signal strength of that tower which is very odd as its reasonably close as most of the 3G/NextG services are pretty low in signal strength, for example the Telstra Takura Tower,
the Telstra Ghost Hill Tower and the Telstra Pialba Tower and the Telstra Craignish
Tower, i'm most closest to the Craignish tower for Telstra however it results in low signal strength the Optus Tower Relocated with another 10meters added to tower height will give
it a very large coverage area.
Final response views
The Optus Tower Submitted Position around Karraschs Rd, Carls Rd and Craignish Rd Dundowran, this site will no doubt destroy certain pristine views over the rural properties at least it would for a few of us not including myself as i have no vision in the direction of the current proposed site so this doesn't really concern me, however for others it will be in full view like the ABC Radio Towers 0855 kilohertz (plug), so i think the people of Dundowran really shouldn't dismiss this tower as it may save someones life, so the people of Dundowran should propose a new site,
